PureFit Wins Packaging Design Award

Sarah Carnes HeadshotPureFit is proud to announce that Sarah Carnes, Director of Marketing has been recognized with an American In-house Design Award from Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) for her product packaging design of the PureFit Meals snack line.

PureFit introduced the new snack line in January 2017. The snack line includes Blueberry Crisp Bars, Turkey & Bacon Jerky and BBQ Beef Jerky. Additional meal options will be released in the near future.

“Designing food packaging is an involved process, from creating a cohesive set of designs that represent the brand, to choosing paper and label materials that make each product stand out,” said Carnes.

The Blueberry Crisp Bars are made from scratch using oats, almonds, dried blueberries, pistachios, flax seeds, and pumpkin seeds. The BBQ Beef and Turkey & Bacon Jerky feature lean, Missouri-raised meat with a variety of all-natural flavors and seasoning.

For more than 50 years, GDUSA has been a business-to-business information source for graphic design professionals in the country and received 6,000 entries for this year’s awards, with only 15% receiving a formal recognition.
